HOW LONG WILL THE ASPHALT LAST?
On
average asphalt will last 10-15 years depending on traffic and weather conditions.
WHY USE ASPHALT INSTEAD OF CONCRETE?
- Asphalt melts snow faster and is safe to use salt on,
- Concrete will
raise property taxes,
- Concrete needs
about a week to set up
- Asphalt is easier
and more cost effective to repair
- Asphalt is more
forgiving on your body on playing surfaces
HOW MUCH DOES THE AVERAGE JOB COST?
There
is no standard price on driveways or parking lots, each parking lot and
driveway needs to be evaluated and estimated personally to check the size and
condition of the job.
HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE DRIVING/PARKING ON NEW ASPHALT?
Approximately
1 hour for roads, overnight for driveways and 2-3 days to park on.
HOW LONG DOES THE AVERAGE ESTIMATE TAKE?
Approximately 2 weeks from measuring.
WHEN DO YOU TYPICALLY START AND STOP PAVING:
We start no earlier than Easter and end around Thanksgiving weather depending.
